Gentlemen

Old Colwyn Golf Club, led by the captain Jason Wynne-Williams and his vice captain Jim O’Connor, has a friendly men’s section with a full and varied programme of both competitive and social golf.  

Competitions are played throughout the year, where winter golf is played over a modified 14 holes. However if you just want to play social golf there are lots of opportunities to join in, with a designated Wednesday social. The club has regular DGU matches against other teams in Denbighshire during the summer and has a team in the Norman Brookes winter league which is a singles match play against other clubs.

The club has an exchange day with a different club every year and a club outing, which is the captain’s choice. This year it is Prestatyn Golf Club on the 1st September  The club also get members rates which is reciprocal with Penmaenmawr golf club.
